I hope you enjoyed a warm and happy Yuletide

Winter walk

I have just returned from an ear bitingly cold walk, crunching through frosted grass and ice topped puddles. By the gate of the field, on my way home, a Robin was singing a little, thin song into the still air; and though it was small, it was clear, and seemed to say...'Welcome to the post Yule calm!' Aaaah. I could feel all the tension sliding off my shoulders!! I do love all the festivities but it is so hectic! This year I was busier than ever in the lead-up period...thank you for all of your orders!!!....

So now from this space of peace, looking back at 2008 and taking stock...I can only say 'WOW, that was quite a year!!!'

It was my 50th year and I set myself the goal of producing and publishing 'Luna Moon Hare'. Little did I know that I was climbing aboard an epic roller coaster ride!!! It was scary, exhilarating, challenging and exciting. I went from extreme lows to wondrous highs, from tears to laughter, from sorrow to joy, from doubt to confidence! And 'THANK YOU GODDESS'... I survived and 'Luna Moon Hare' was born!!!

I am overwhelmed and overjoyed at the wonderful response I have had...Luna is now spreading her magic far and wide!

At the beginning of November I did a presentation of 'Luna Moon Hare' and had a stand at Witchfest International. It was a great day!

And later in November we held our 'Sacred Hare' exhibition at Galleryeight in Glastonbury, which was a fantastic success!

Hare lovers from all over the country came and we met many lovely kindred spirits. Heres a link to the 'hare preservation trust' who do some wonderful work to protect this beautiful creature.

'Hare' seems to be 'speaking' to many of us at this time and touching our hearts. I feel 'she' is calling us to remember our connection with the spirit of the land and listen to the voice of the Goddess.

I am finding myself inspired to continue 'working' with Luna....further magical journeying ...animations....calendars....watch this space!!!

As a follow on to the book, much requested and now available is a range of exquisitely produced limited edition giclee prints. I am thrilled to have found a local printer who has produced these perfect prints for me, on beautiful thick etching paper, the quality and colour reproduction is superb! It is a very limited edition of just 64...making them more collectible. Each comes mounted with a text box below the image and is supplied with a certificate of authenticity.

I can't wait to get into my studio...I am brimming over with ideas for paintings!! I have some very exciting commissions to start the year with.... Also in 2009 I will be developing a 'fold-out' altar and a range of images depicting various animals bringing the ancient wisdom of the Goddess to us. This may develop into a little book...we'll see how it takes shape! I will also be creating a BIG painting of The Goddess in Her fiery nature for the Goddess conference in Glastonbury 29th July - 2nd August.

I have a few shows booked for 2009...there will be more but here are the ones so far...

Theres so much more to tell you but I'd better call it a day for now!
