Hi Everyone

Wayhay, Ostara is here already! The birds are singing their hearts out, pretty Primroses beam with sunny antiscipation of warmth and a few brave Bluebells are out in the woods! For although it is really chilly still spring in the air! Isn't it WONDERful!!

I've been busy....busy painting images for my book 'Luna Moon Hare'. Still LOTS to do but it's starting to really take shape!

Luna dancing with Eostre

" 'I am Eostre and your journey has brought you here to Ostara. It is the Spring Equinox. Night and day are the same lengths. From now on, the days will be longer than the nights. The earth is warming and waking up.'

Eostre begins to skip joyfully around the meadow. Luna follows her, leaping and bounding. They skip and leap. They dance and prance. Round and round, happily, dizzily...dreams and promises...vitality and joy. As they swirl, through the chattering, twittering song of the birds, Luna hears Eostre's laughing voice calling. 'I bring new life and the wheel turns.' "

Ostara weekend snow

Woke up this morning ready for our eggy breakfast (of the chocolate and chicken variety!) and looked out of the window to find heavy snow...more like Yule than Ostara!! Huge fluffy flakes!

After drawing faces on our boiled eggs and consuming rather more chocolate than we should, we set off for a wonderful walk in the sunshine...all the snow had disappeared like a dream!!

And Eostre kissed the day with bright sunny sparkles and blessed us with the sighting of a hare in the woods!! Thank you Eostre!!

Here's a picture of the beautiful chocolate hare that Roger bought me...much too lovely to eat!!!
