Hi

Goodness Autumn Equinox has come round again already! I've only just, in the last couple of days, smelt that distinctive autumnal smell in the air. It's a smell that so definitely spells the end of summer and sparks thoughts of red-nosed chilly walks and crackling fires - winter!!

I hope you have managed to find some rays of sunshine over the past few months...it has to be said that here in England they have been rather few and far between!!

Since my last newsletter I have been to the Goddess conference where I exhibited the artwork from my new book ‘Luna Moon Hare’ and did a presentation for the conference. I was really nervous but despite a few technical hitches it was a great success and ‘Luna Moon Hare’ was very enthusiastically received! At that point I only had a couple of sample books to show everyone. Since then I am THRILLED to say that the books have been printed and so now, at last, ‘Luna Moon Hare’ is available for purchase! I am SO delighted with the quality of production of the book...it looks and feels lovely...it even smells lovely (well I think so because I love the smell of newly printed books!!!) This newsletter is becoming a bit smell focused isn’t it?!

Thinking of smells has transported me back to Chartres cathedral where the intense heady waft of incense engulfed us as we entered! I have just returned from a lovely family holiday to Blaye near Bordeaux and on our way home we took a bit of a detour so that I could go to Chartres cathedral. What an awe-inspiring, intensely spiritual place it is!...it was definitely worth the extra few miles on our journey. I can't wait to go back again soon and walk the labyrinth!

Before I close I want to mention that I have painted some new images for Yule cards for 2008. They are at the printers right now and I will let you know as soon as they are ready. Also to remind you of our ‘Sacred Hare’ exhibition at Gallery Eight in Glastonbury from 14th to 23rd November.

I've just come back from a sun-kissed weekend on Dartmoor at the 13 Moon festival.

Back to the smell theme...I will leave you with the thought of the smell of apple and blackberry crumble cake....I have just found a lovely recipe and am off to gather some blackberries!

Wishing you comfort and happiness this Autumn Equinox
