I hope you enjoyed a lovely festive season...it all seems a long time ago already doesn’t it?...on the other side of the Snow Queen’s reign! Her land is so stunningly beautiful and yet so harsh! The poor wild creatures had such a hard time and I’m sure are very relieved to see her depart! As I write this the sun is shining and in the woods this morning I saw a few bright green Bluebell shoots breaking through the brown carpet! How tenacious is life’s lust for life!!..as Brigid begins to breathe Her energy and softly waken the sleeping earth. Though the Snow Queen may well come to call again before the winter Crone releases Her hold...

A belated huge THANK YOU for all your support during 2009! It was quite a year! I had another print run done of ‘Luna Moon Hare’ which continues to sell really well and the lovely article in ‘Pagan Dawn’ brought it to the attention of lots more people. Thank you so very much for all the beautiful heartfelt feedback you have given me. It means such a lot to me.
We had lots of fun at all the different shows during 2009. Here’s a picture of my niece Sophie who came with us to the Faery And Fantasy Arts and Crafts event in Dartmouth..where she slipped into the magical faerie world! Isn’t she a beautiful faerie princess?!!

My work was featured in several magazines and books during 2009 ...including the lovely little magazine ‘The Magical Times’ ..packed with interesting info, ‘Kindred Spirit’ magazine, ‘Pagan Dawn’ magazine, Earth Pathways diary, ‘Messages From Natures Guardians’ by Fiona Murray and Archangel Raphael’s Healing Oracle Cards by Doreen Virtue.
My ‘Luna Moon Hare’ wall calendar proved really popular and sold out just before Yule....I hope it will bring much pleasure during 2010! I will be producing a Goddess and/or ‘Sacred Creatures’ calendar for 2011 or 2012. Our ‘Sacred Creatures of Albion’ exhibition at Galleryeight in Glastonbury in November was beautiful and inspiring for those of us that exhibited and those that visited! Thanks to all!!! Yve Sturgeon who exhibited her beautiful ceramics now has a wonderful new website...do take a look http://www.sturgeonart.co.uk
Sadly Galleryeight has now closed down...we will all miss Dawn and Steve who did such a brilliant job running it. You can now purchase my prints from Glastonbury Galleries (right next to the Assembly rooms), do pop in if you are in town...it’s really lovely!
My intention is to make 2010 a more studio focused year. As my little business grows I have been finding myself increasingly short of painting time! It’s extraordinary how much time is taken up with stock preparation and business paper work etc....!
I have SO MANY inspirations that are crying out to be created! Amongst the many things that are calling to be taken from inspiration to creation... are the series of Goddess fabric wall hangings...an altar card set and stand...a Goddess inspiration card set..... totem animal guidance cards....an animation of ‘Luna Moon Hare’ not to mention several exciting commissions!! And of course so often the Muse calls me onto another path just when I thought I knew where I was going!!

Sketchbook doodling!
My favourite phrase of the moment is ‘In the fullness of time’....for me it conjures up a picture of hours of mellow painting time...lost in creation! The idea of time being abundant and not scarce!!! So here’s to the ‘fullness of time’!!!
Peter (my lovely webmaster son!) and I are working on some changes for my website ....it’s all needing a bit of freshen up.... we have lots of great ideas and it’s going to be fantastic! For the moment we’ve made just a few updates.
There is now a ‘limited edition prints’ page.
‘Brigid Guiding Back to the Light’ is now available as a greetings card
The shows page now has details of shows booked for 2010 so far... (http://www.paintingdreams.co.uk/shows.php)
I am very excited to have been asked to be a guest artist at an exhibition of the intricate, ethereal art of Ed Org (http://www.sirengallery.co.uk)
I was at art college in Cheltenham with Ed (more years ago than I care to remember!!!)...so it is especially lovely to be exhibiting with him. His work is stunning!!
Here is an invite to the exhibition...If you can come along it would wonderful!

Exhibition invite (pdf, 732KB)
Well, that’s it for the mo.....
I wish you a WONDERfully happy, peaceful and prosperous 2010!
Will be in touch again very soon.
Goddess blessings
